RE: [linrad] Svgalib 1.4.3 to 1.9.18

I have tried Redhat 8.0 I can not install svgalib-1.9.18.



The below works for Redhat 9 only.

1) Place svgalib-1.9.18.tar.gz where you want it.
Unpack it and you get a directory
........../svgalib-1.9.18
 
2) Edit the file:
........../svgalib-1.9.18/kernel/svgalib_helper/kernel26_compat.h
Change line 10 so it becomes identical to line 22.

3) Replace the file
........../svgalib-1.9.18/kernel/svgalib_helper/Makefile
by the alternate file:
........../svgalib-1.9.18/kernel/svgalib_helper/Makefile.alt

4) Type make install when logget to
........../svgalib-1.9.18


It would be a great thing if someone could help Matan to sort
out these kernel issues:-)
