Hi Terry,

   Check permissions on /dev/dsp.

   In other words: ls -l /dev/dsp. At the beginning of the line are the
permissions. You can read more about what they mean in the linux docs and
on the web. But basically try opening up all the permissions on /dev/dsp
and see if that helps.

   >chmod 777 /dev/dsp  <--- Do this as the root user.
